Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

These terms govern your use of Fyndare (the “site”). By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) to use the site.

2. What the site provides

Fyndare lists coupons, promo codes, and deals sourced from affiliate-network feeds (Awin, CJ, Rakuten Advertising, and Impact) and manual curation. Listings are synced directly from those feeds and pruned when they leave them, and we show the feeds’ real expiry dates and last-synced times. But the codes themselves are created and controlled by the retailers that issue them: they can expire early, change, carry unlisted conditions, or be region-restricted at any time, and we do not independently verify individual codes — all codes and deals are provided “as is”, with no guarantee that any code will work for any particular purchase. Success rates shown on the site reflect anonymous feedback from other visitors, not testing by us.

3. Affiliate links

Outbound coupon, deal, and store links are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission when you make a purchase after following one — at no additional cost to you. How this works, and how it does not influence what we list, is explained in our Affiliate Disclosure.

4. Your purchases are with the retailer

Any purchase you make after leaving this site is a transaction solely between you and the retailer. We are not a party to it and are not responsible for retailer products, pricing, availability, shipping, returns, or customer service. The retailer’s own terms and policies govern your purchase.

5. Acceptable use

When using the site, you agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest the site at rates that burden it, or circumvent rate limits
  • Attempt to access the administration area or any system you are not authorized to use
  • Interfere with the site’s operation or security, or probe it for vulnerabilities
  • Manipulate community signals — casting automated or repeated feedback votes or star ratings, or otherwise gaming success rates
  • Republish our content in a way that misrepresents it — for example, presenting expired codes as active or our listings as “verified”
  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose

6. Community feedback

The site lets you vote on whether a code worked and rate stores. This feedback is anonymous and stored only in aggregate. By submitting it, you agree it reflects your genuine experience and you grant us the right to use it — for example, in the success rates and ratings displayed on the site.

7. AI assistant

The deal assistant generates answers with an AI model. It is constrained to recommend only offers that actually exist in our catalog, but its wording is machine-generated and provided for convenience only — it may be incomplete or imperfect, and it is not advice of any kind. The offer details on the store page, and ultimately the retailer’s own checkout, are authoritative.

8. Intellectual property

The site’s design, original text, and compilation of listings belong to the site operator. Retailer and brand names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners; they appear on the site solely to identify the retailer an offer belongs to, and their appearance does not imply any endorsement of this site by those owners. You may link to the site and quote it reasonably with attribution; you may not copy it wholesale or pass its content off as your own.

9. Third-party sites

The site links out to retailers and affiliate networks we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data when you follow an outbound link.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE AND EVERYTHING ON IT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY CODE OR DEAL WILL BE VALID, AVAILABLE, OR HONORED BY ANY RETAILER.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SITE OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — OR ANY LOSS OF SAVINGS, PROFITS, OR DATA — ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR RELIANCE ON ANY LISTED CODE OR DEAL. IF LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, IT IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN EXCLUSIONS, SO PARTS OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify the site operator against claims and costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your violation of these terms or your misuse of the site.

13. Suspension and blocking

We may block, rate-limit, or otherwise restrict access that violates these terms or threatens the site’s operation, without notice.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which the site operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought in the courts of that state.

16. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Affiliate Disclosure, are the entire agreement between you and the site operator regarding the site.
