Affiliate Disclosure

The short version: Fyndare is free to use. When you click a coupon, deal, or store link here and then make a purchase, the retailer may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it never affects which codes we list or how we rank them.

How we make money

We participate in affiliate programs with retailers through the affiliate networks Awin, CJ (Commission Junction), Rakuten Advertising, and Impact. When you follow an outbound link from this site and buy something, the network attributes the sale to us and the retailer pays us a percentage. That commission is the site’s only revenue — there are no ads, no sponsored placements, and no paid listings.

What this means for you

Prices are identical whether you use our links or go to the retailer directly — the commission comes out of the retailer’s marketing budget, at no additional cost to you. After you click an outbound link, the affiliate network may set a cookie in your browser so the retailer knows the visit came from us; our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data when you leave the site.

Our editorial independence

Commission rates never determine whether a code is listed or where it ranks. Listings are synced directly from retailer and network feeds, ranked by relevance and by how well codes actually perform (using anonymous “did this work?” feedback from visitors), and pruned automatically when they leave the feeds. A retailer that pays us more gets no better treatment than one that pays us less.

What we don’t claim

We do not market codes as “verified” — we don’t test codes at checkout, and any site that says otherwise about feed-sourced codes is overselling. What we can honestly promise is freshness: listings come straight from the networks’ live feeds, show their real expiry dates and last-synced times, and are removed when the feeds drop them. Success rates shown next to codes reflect real visitor feedback, not our endorsement.

Why we disclose this

This disclosure is provided in accordance with the United States Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255), which require us to clearly disclose the material connection between this site and the retailers we link to.
